I have been collecting stamps since boyhood. My particular specialism is GB line-engraved and pictorial envelopes, but we have a wide-ranging knowledge of World Classics.

As a collector and enthusiast I am a Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society and am currently co-authoring a book for them about early Mulready caricatures and pictorial envelopes. I am a former Competitions Secretary for the Great Britain Philatelic Society and a founder of the Mulready Group – a forum for exchange of expert opinion on a range of philatelic issues. I have exhibited at international level: winning a Gold at Stockholm 2019, a Large Gold at London 2020 and Gold at London 2022. As a trader I am a proud Gold Member of the Philatelic Traders Society, the international society for philatelic professionals. We consistently attend Stampex in London and the York Stamp and Coin Fair in January and July. I have been trading on eBay since 2000.
