A fine c.1850 Papal States cover sent from Viterbo to Soriano. Franked with 1 Baj Green on the reverse. which is cancelled by a straightline date stamp ’21 NOV’. A large indistinct circular cancel across the flap and a similar cancel on the front. There is a black straightline VITERBO handstamp on the front and a handstruck ‘1’ through the address.
