A very good 1d Star plate 27 lettered AE on an 1856 London cover to Chertsey. cancelled by a London numeral cancel. A fine blue CHERTSEY CDS (26/7/1856) and also a blue FARNBOROUGH CDS and grey-blue BAGSHOT CDS. There is a fault under the Queen’s head. otherwise very fine.
