A very good 1855 strip of three 1d Red SG26 from plate 4 lettered TG-TI on a printed Notice of Objection from Penrith. Cancelled by only two ‘606’ numerals of Penrith (CONTRARY TO REGULATIONS). plus CDS ‘PENRITH/AU21/1855/E’. On reverse a SCARCE blue ‘WATERMILLOCK’ UDC. Note corner crease SE on TI. otherwise fine. Spec. C5. possibly C4.
