A fine used 1841 1d Red from plate 138 lettered EG with mostly large margins tied bright BLUE ‘698‘ numeral. double strike. of Shaftesbury. but used FROM GILLINGHAM Dorset (which had no numeral) with fine strike of the Gillingham cds for 26 November 1852. With contents. Rare. Cat. £750.00++.
